Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: 5 Days Per Week On-Site (Columbus, OH)

What You'll Do:
- Server Management: Perform analysis, acquisition, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of servers, computer hardware, and operating systems, both physical and virtual.
- System Optimization: Administer, monitor, and tune clustered and standalone server environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Backup & Maintenance: Maintain server backup systems and strategies, and perform weekly and monthly maintenance updates.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve server and system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including procedures for installation, usage, and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams, including contractors and state/county IT resources, to align projects with organizational goals and standards.
- Security & Policies: Participate in IT projects to assess and implement networking and security policies.
- After-Hours Support: Provide maintenance and on-call support outside of normal business hours for critical systems.
What We're Looking For: - Technical Expertise:
- Experience managing servers in clustered and standalone environments.
- Familiarity with operating systems, application software, and system performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of backup systems, server updates, and maintenance protocols.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
- Documentation Skills: Experience creating technical documentation and support materials.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Availability: Willingness to work after hours and provide on-call support when needed.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices.
