System Administrator (Hybrid Role)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Type: Hybrid (Two days in-office per week)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for implementing, integrating, and managing infrastructure, unified communication systems, and endpoint devices to support our mission of enhancing the lives of the aging community.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement infrastructure architecture aligned with strategic goals, including servers, cloud, networks, and VoIP.
Provide technical support for hardware and software issues encountered by users.
Upgrade systems and processes to enhance functionality and resolve security issues.
Lead the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
Manage system updates, software patches, and firmware upgrades.
Monitor daily system operations and respond promptly to security or usability concerns.
Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and configuration recommendations for new projects.
Collaborate with internal/external users and vendors to plan and maintain a stable production environment.
Resolve help desk requests involving servers, networks, and endpoint devices.
Ensure endpoint device deployment, security, and data reliability.
Configure and troubleshoot software and applications as assigned.
Assist in mobility projects and process development to enhance end-user experience.
Write and maintain automation scripts to optimize tasks and system efficiency.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong technical expertise in infrastructure optimization and endpoint upgrades.
In-depth knowledge of wireless access points, network administration, and security technologies.
Experience with deployment and management systems.
Proven ability to drive results with a sense of urgency and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Professional certifications in server and/or network administration (desired).
Additional Information:
Hybrid Position: Onsite presence required two days per week.
Equipment: Laptop must be picked up onsite.
