We are looking for a highly motivated Reporting Analyst located in Columbus, OH or Fairfax, VA that can operate in a fast-paced and demanding start-up like environment of a micro-cap publicly-traded company.
Position Summary
The Reporting Analyst manages task order tracking for Cellular Wireless Managed Services (CWMS) government clients and generates burn rate reports. This role supports critical reporting and reconciliation functions, works closely with the CWMS Program Management Office (PMO) Manager and their staff, and assists in resolving open disputes. The Reporting Analyst will also create ad-hoc reports and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes. This position reports directly to the Director of Audit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Collaboration
o Partner with Account Managers and Sales teams to address audit, optimization, and savings report-related issues.
o Cross-collaborate with internal departments, including Accessories, Finance, and the ITMS team.
· Contract Management
o Review and interpret service contract terms and pricing structures.
o Identify contract issues and work to resolution by obtaining carrier service recoveries.
· Audit and Compliance
o Ensure client contract deliverables and SLAs related to audits, optimization, and reconciliation are met.
o Perform routine "true-ups" for MDM reports, licensing, and carrier pricing.
· Reporting and Analytics
o Generate database and ad-hoc reports as requested by the CWMS PMO Manager and staff.
o Prepare and analyze various reports, including Cost allocation reports, Invoice savings summaries, and Burn rate analyses.
· Reconciliation and Dispute Resolution
o Reconcile invoices against the asset database.
o Work with vendors to resolve disputes, including securing credits.
· Engage in additional duties as assigned by the Director of Audit.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
The minimum qualifications include:
· Education and Experience
o A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
o Accounting or bookkeeping experience is required.
· Technical Skills
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
o Strong knowledge of SQL, with the ability to produce and manage SQL reporting.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and reconciliation tasks.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Communication and Collaboration
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. · Must have or be able to obtain Federal Security Clearance.
