Description
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Windows Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site IT support and administration for our clients, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of their Windows-based systems. Key Responsibilities
- Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of backups
- Maintain Windows Server systems, AD, DHCP, DNS, NTP, Active Directory, GPO, and other core infrastructure components in an enterprise environment
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests
- Provide support and guidance to help desk support team members
- Install and test computer-related equipment
- Monitor and manage building automation and security systems
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
- Create, change and delete user accounts per request
- Updating systems to current software
- Other technology projects and tasks as assigned by management
- Roll out patches and hotfixes to all workstations as well as servers. Ability to patch a clustered server environment.
- Able to use Powershell to help script and automate tasks and software
- Configure and maintain phone system
- Setup and maintain UPS battery backups
This position is not open to C2C and/or visa sponsorships. All candidates must live in Columbus, Ohio or the surrounding areas.

· Strong knowledge of deployment and management systems.
· Strong knowledge of configuring, implementing, and managing systems.

· Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
· Ability to break down required tasks in project deployment.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, users, and the public.
· Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
· Experience working with cross-functional teams.
· Microsoft Certified Professional desired
