In this role, you'll collaborate with talented professionals to create engaging marketing and informational content, from digital media to traditional materials like newsletters, annual reports, and feature stories. You’ll also be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the IT web presence, ensuring it’s dynamic and user-friendly.
You’ll also take the lead as a project manager, collaborating with departments across the division to develop, enhance, and implement technology. If you're a strategic thinker who enjoys working on a variety of communication projects, this is the role for you!
What you need to know
Salary: Commensurate on selected candidate's experience and the complex nature of technical communications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of communications and/or marketing experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strategic Communication Expertise: Ability to develop and execute impactful communication campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and action.
- Clear and Compelling Writing: Exceptional writing skills to create engaging content for a variety of platforms.
- Collaborative Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
- Project Management Proficiency: Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Technical Writing Skills: Skilled in making technical or complex content or subject matter understandable to all audiences.
- Relevant Experience: At least four years of experience in creating and editing marketing and communication materials, including web content, news stories, promotional emails, and strategic messaging.
- Project Management Experience: Minimum of two years managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in higher education, technology, or technical communications.
