Seeking a full-time Junior Network Engineer/Technician to join the Information Technology team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide problem analysis and all levels of technical support for onsite and remote staff.
- Monitor, support and maintain Enterprise Network and Telecom infrastructure. Identify issues and concerns as well as respond to alarm conditions.
- Demonstrate strong communication and human relationship skills.
- Work with IT Staff and vendors on the timely resolution of IT related issues.
- On call rotation (one week per month and includes weekends).
- Travel as needed, typically a couple of day trips per quarter in state. Occasional trips to remote offices in Florida, Georgia and Colorado may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Local Area Networking equipment, cabling, and protocols including routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Wide Area Networking equipment, including edge routers and firewalls.
- Wireless LAN equipment and technologies including network switches, access points, etc.
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Technologies and Networking. (Windows Workstation and Server, IIS, Active Directory, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
- IP Phone Knowledge & Experience a huge plus
- Office365 experience
- VMware experience
