Position : Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Milford, OH

Type : Full Time Permanent

Job Description :

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions to address business problems in various industry verticals.

• Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology(POT) evaluation on interoperable technology platforms

• Train and mentor developers towards solution development and POC/POT execution

• Support presales engineering activities for Cloud tools based RFPs

Qualifications:

Technical:

Must have:

• Architecture-knowledge of Infrastructure-as-a-Service components (Server, Storage, Network, Network Security, IaaS-Management Tools)

• Hands-on usage of Virtualization Technologies from VmWare, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Red Hat or IBM (at least one vendor, preferably VmWare)

• Hands-on knowledge of Server, Storage, Network and Network Security architectures

• Detailed technical knowledge of Software Defined Data-Center (SDDC) or Software Defined Networking (SDN) Solutions

• SLA Frameworks, Metrics and methods to measure and architect solutions to SLA metrics (ex: TCS uses the Performance, Availability, Reliability and Security Compliance – PARS™ SLA Framework for any cloud-based services delivery)

• Application Workload Derivation and applicability to designing customized cloud-based solutions for standard COTS applications (ex: SAP, Oracle) and custom-applications using industry standards

• Detailed understanding of one of the commercially available IaaS solutions – AWS, Azure, Open Source options (ex: Open Stack, Cloud Stack and Eucalyptus) and how they can be leveraged for Enterprise Cloud Solution requirements

• Experience with at least two enterprise infrastructure transformation projects involving the Private IaaS or Hybrid IaaS as ‘target states’

• Compelling content creation and delivery for client’s executive decision makers using architecture and solution-level differentiators – to complement other pre-sales team-members

• A professional sense of ownership and accountability in conjunction with driving and utilizing team-work to achieve results

• Key technical owner for connect into key technology-partners’ architects and product managers (ex: Cisco, HP, EMC, VmWare, SAP, Oracle, Citrix, Microsoft, Computer Associates and others)

• Prior examples of delivering architecture-level talks at industry forums, analyst-conferences or vendor-invited industry meetings

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of leading-edge Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions and architectures, as well as transformation opportunities and requirements to develop Enterprise PaaS and SaaS offerings

• SAP and Oracle Application Workload metrics, measurement techniques, design principles to architect to target workload requirements

• Reputed technical blog-author (if yes, please send your URL)

• No. of reputed industry publications (ex: IEEE standards, technical papers in reputed journals, vendor-publications and technical white-papers)

• Experience working in multiple geographies within and outside the USA

• Prior work-experience with Indian multi-nationals and/or Indian IT Services companies

• Ability to travel 25-50% of your work-time
