-Responsible for Help Desk inbound and outbound calls from end users.
-Setting up and the ongoing maintenance of IT security accounts for the Division applications for all employees and contractors.
-This position reviews documentation and processes requests for access to automated systems through established procedures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in compliance with State and Federal Security Regulations.
-Adds, changes, deletes all types of accounts in LAN, Mainframe, Application, E-mail; helps identify, define and documents user profiles for job roles. (85%)
-Documents account processes; actively participate in the SST by communicating Division/Program security concerns and provides feedback on other issues discussed. Documentation of account related policies and procedures (writing down the processes that security technicians follow when adding accounts) (5%)
-Completes monthly reports to the Information Security Administration (ISA) ( to include account related statistics, such as total accounts deleted, added and/or changed as directed. (5%)
-Implements DES (DCS/CMDP) IT standards in relation to access management; participates with customers in the annual internal/external recertification; implementing portions of Security Awareness campaigns; coordinates Data Security Agreements (external to DES/DCS/CMDP); maintain Memo's of Understanding (internal data sharing); participating in monthly Securiy Technician Team Meetings; assist ISA in resolving any Division/Program security incidents/violations. (5%)
