Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems (both on-premises and cloud-based).
- Ensure the security, performance, and availability of systems.
- Administer user accounts, access control, and permissions across systems.
- Monitor and respond to system performance issues, outages, and security incidents.
- Coordinate and manage on-site network setup and support during annual auctions.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours to support on location auctions.
- Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Oversee and manage the M365 environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Provide support and training for end users in the effective use of M365 applications.
- Ensure compliance with M365 security, governance, and best practices.
- IT Support:
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues.
- Collaborate with helpdesk staff to resolve user issues and implement preventive measures.
- Documentation & Policies:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with technology trends, particularly in M365 and cloud computing.
- Identify and recommend improvements to IT systems and processes.
- Nice to Have - Migration to SharePoint:
- Plan and execute the migration of legacy on-premises file storage systems and processes to SharePoint Online.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs and design SharePoint solutions.
- Manage data cleanup, migration scheduling, and post-migration support.
- Optimize SharePoint for file sharing, collaboration, and workflow automation.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on Microsoft environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing M365 applications, especially SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams.
- Experience in migrating on-premises systems and file storage to SharePoint Online.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
- Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Soft Skills:

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
- Experience with hybrid environments and transitioning to full cloud-based systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and change management.
