As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in reengineering and reimagining our healthcare claim processing and management solutions. You will collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and other engineers to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive implementation across both backend and frontend components. This role requires expertise in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across backend (C# .NET Core, Python, SQL Server) and frontend (React) technologies to design and implement robust, scalable solutions.
- Gather and refine requirements in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Ensure high code quality, security, and performance in all deliverables.
- Embrace an agile scrum methodology, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Drive innovation by reimagining and disrupting outdated healthcare solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in backend and frontend development.
- Proficiency in C# .NET Core, Python, SQL Server, and React.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and cloud-native principles.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
- Passion for continuous improvement, learning, and mentoring others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the healthcare or related industry.
- Previous experience with reengineering legacy systems or greenfield projects.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and healthcare data compliance standards.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices in a cloud environment.
- Proven ability to lead projects from conception to implementation, delivering high-quality solutions on time.
