We’re currently looking for a Software Engineer / Systems Administrator to join our team, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Java-based services.
The Software Engineer will work on projects responsible for building new and supporting existing internal tools. In coordination with the Cloud Ops Leadership and Stakeholders, the Software Engineer is expected to develop projects by studying operations, designing, developing, and installing software solutions. In this role, you must have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills.
Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. Job Duties:
Deploy and maintain servers, services and troubleshoot issues
Analyze user requirements to define business objectives
Develop and test software
Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
Create and maintain detailed design and process documentation
Accept OnCall duty 7x24 rotation etc
Contribute to high level uptime of services
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

3+ years of experience
Linux - redhat or CentOS administration experience with industry standards and information security best practices
Linux skills should be advanced, able to support and maintain multiple servers
MySQL - Management and schema, replication,create, insert, alter, grant, query
Nice to Have Skills:
Web Technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery
Redis+ELK+Kibana+jenkins
Preferably 3+ years of relevant experience as software developers, particularly those with expertise in handling ground-up projects
A strong command of PHP or JAVA is preferred
Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Patterns and Concepts
Skilled at creating database schemas that characterize and support business processes - MySQL
In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools - Git
Understanding of building tools like Maven, Gradle, etc
Expertise in continuous integration
Proficiency in Vue or React, skilled at developing frontend with either
Experience with Ansible, Docker, Python and NodeJS can be useful

If you are hired in Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Maryland, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $94,500 and $153,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
