Position Title: Network Engineer – Active Directory (AD) Expert
Location: Remote, North Carolina (Only Local NC Candidates)
Duration: 6-12 Months
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an Active Directory (AD) expert to assess, troubleshoot, and enhance our on-premises AD infrastructure and transition it into a hybrid cloud environment. This critical role will directly address existing AD challenges, improve reliability and performance, and integrate Azure AD Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- AD Troubleshooting & Optimization: Assess and resolve issues in the current on-prem AD environment, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Hybrid AD Implementation: Transition the existing AD infrastructure to a hybrid setup integrating Azure AD and Office 365 (O365).
- Windows Server Management: Maintain and optimize Windows Server environments hosting AD, DNS, and related services.
- DNS Configuration: Ensure proper DNS functionality across both on-prem and cloud AD environments.
- O365 Integration: Lead or support seamless O365 implementation and integration with on-prem and Azure AD environments.
- Azure AD Expertise: Implement and manage Azure AD for identity management, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation for AD architecture, troubleshooting processes, and hybrid integrations.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and success in project delivery.

- Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis
