Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Industrial Technology industry, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in AWS cloud solutions, automation, and cost optimization to drive modernization initiatives and support business growth through scalable, resilient infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture design and implementation of AWS cloud modernization initiatives.
- Drive cost optimization efforts with automated resource monitoring and management.
- Design and deliver serverless solutions using cloud-native services like APIs and Lambda.
- Support the migration of legacy applications to AWS, collaborating with IT teams.
- Develop scalable, reusable solutions aligned with the company's hybrid cloud strategy.
- Create custom cloud migration strategies for newly acquired businesses.
- Document and establish best practices and corporate standards for cloud deployments.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms, preferably Terraform.
- Proficiency in modern scripting and development languages. (Front-End)
- Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture best practices (Well-Architected Framework).
- Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux/Unix administration, and distributed systems troubleshooting.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Industry certifications (AWS, Microsoft, HashiCorp, etc.).
- Multi-cloud environment experience (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with compliance requirements such as PCI, GDPR, or DFARS.
