Job Summary: The IT Manager will oversee the management and monitoring of our IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of technology, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining high availability and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions that support business needs and growth.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system performance and capabilities.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing to ensure business continuity.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology services and equipment.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Lead capacity planning and performance tuning for IT systems to meet organizational demands.
- Collaborate with IT teams to establish standards and practices for system deployment and maintenance.
- Create and manage budgets for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication to align technology strategies with business goals.
- Train and mentor IT staff on best practices for system management and security.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of computing infrastructure, networks, and IT security.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- BS Degree in Computer Science (or a related field).
- Experience managing cloud-based services.
- Proven experience in network management.
