Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
Position Summary:
This position is for a Delivery Lead who will be a member of the Risk Mitigation Team that supports the GCIB/GPS Technology team. The role supports various firm-wide risk and information security initiatives from any number of sources including Global Information Security, Risk and Compliance, and Audit. The ideal candidate will operate as an individual contributor who is part of a team that manages these initiatives from end-to-end. The goal is to manage and reduce the risk exposure of GCIB/GPS by ensuring that all applications remain compliant with the various programs, both BAU and ad hoc. The role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as and interface to various LOBs where required for delivering the programs/projects. Must be able to meet demands associated with managing multiple projects in a global environment. Responsibilities also include creating, executing and updating project plans and project timelines and tracking to meet project requirements. Will involve maintaining project dashboards, preparing project status reports and tracking project time and metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
- Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
- Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Required Qualifications:
- 5-8 Years Technology experience.
- Ability to create and present meaningful project metrics tailored to different audiences
- Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical business owners.
- Ability to assess and improve internal processes for increased efficiency
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and conceptual thinking.
- Experience leading and managing technology teams in the delivery of business outcomes
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work self-directed and independently as well as part of a team
- Partner with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to translate requirements into executable actions for the technology teams
- Strong ability to interact, communicate, and influence vertically and horizontally
- Proven ability to think strategically
- Ability to anticipate risks and successfully develop and drive mitigation plans
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
- Ability to navigate in complex and changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
Desired Qualifications:
- Should have an understanding of Infrastructure, Device Security, and Network security concepts as many projects are technical in nature
- Experience in Bank of America Risk Management practices a plus.
- Experience in delivery Bank of America Infrastructure and technology projects a plus.
