Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Chief Technology Officer located in the Charlotte Metro area. The CTO will be responsible for overseeing software development, project management, IT strategy, architecture, and product development on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Software Development, AI, and Architecture skills
- Project Management and Product Development experience
- IT Strategy expertise
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Experience in developing and implementing technology strategies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Previous startup experience preferred
Compensation
We are seeking a hands-on CTO to lead the technical development of Troodie. This is an equity-based role, with a small cash payment available, but it is not salaried. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about startups and is willing to contribute their expertise for long-term growth, rather than focusing on immediate cash compensation. It could be a great fit for an exited founder, a retiree willing to get their hands dirty, or someone with a day job who may want to transition to a full-time role in the future. It may not be suited for students, as cash compensation is limited.
