We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious talent to serve as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Los Angeles. This role will be pivotal in advancing our technical breakthroughs, establishing our future R&D site, and preparing our product for market readiness.

Education & Expertise
- PhD or postdoc in Computational Chemistry with extensive expertise in structural biology and drug design
- Strong background in designing and implementing scalable AI solutions in drug discovery, molecular modeling, and predictive analytics
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++, or similar) to develop and optimize computational models
- Track record of turning complex scientific concepts into real-world applications
Industry Experience
- Experience in biotech/pharma drug discovery, ideally within fast-scaling biotech startups
- Hands-on expertise in computational modeling, hit discovery, and lead optimization
- Ability to bridge science and business, aligning technical strategy with company growth
- Fundraising & pitching experience is a huge plus

Responsibilities
- Co-develop & execute the technical strategy, shaping Synamics' future R&D and AI-driven drug design
- Lead the R&D team (~50% of your role) while contributing directly to design, coding, and model development (~50%)
- Present & pitch our technology to investors, partners, and industry leaders
- Advance & refine our drug discovery solution for market readiness and scalability
- Shape the future of drug discovery by translating science into impactful, first-in-class treatments
