Chief Technology Officer
Salary: $240,000-$270,000 + EQUITY

Summary:
The CTO establishes and directs the strategic long-term goals, policies, and procedures for our information technology department by determining the organization's long-term systems needs and any hardware acquisitions needed to accomplish the organization's business objectives. This role serves as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and gives technical guidance and advice on high priority projects and orients the company to trends in the information technology industry. The CTO is accountable for directing the information and data integrity for us, its customers, and all information technology functions of the company.

Essential Functions:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.
- Align IT objectives and programs to company objectives and strategies.
- Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
- Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
- Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.
- Consult with SLT, department managers, and manufacturing representatives to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.
- Provide oversight of technological guidance.
- Ensure that computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of corporate growth and changing corporate objectives.
- Research and deploy state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to safeguard the organization’s personnel and assets, including intellectual property and trade secrets. Establishes appropriate standards and associated risk controls.
- Monitor and validate company compliance with security policies.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with regulatory agencies (i.e. privacy, data protection, and environmental, health and safety).
- Overall responsibility for information system and communications network.
- Develop and implement a customer service platform to serve the organization in every aspect.
- Manage the design, establishment, and maintenance a network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.
- Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation.
- Facilitate the productivity of current IT solutions focusing on minimizing cost and maximizing results.
- Help customers and us profit from how data is used.
- Optimize cost of services through a mix of internal and external sources.
- Align IT risk management with company-wide risk management.
- Ensure measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes.
- Motivate and lead high performing team. Participate in the recruitment and retention of team members.
- Advise leadership about timely investments in appropriate new technology.
- Administers and controls the information systems expense budget to contribute to a cost-effective operation.
- Perform periodic evaluations of the overall operational effectiveness of the IT services provided and oversees the analysis of systems within the area of interest. This includes the monitoring of the claims approval process and the analysis of applied algorithms to ensure their compliance within the 340B guidelines to ensure maximum potential savings targets are met for each customer served.

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge:
- Expert knowledge of software application development concepts with proficiency in enterprise related software, services, and technology solutions.
- Proven expertise in both business and technical facets of Information Technology.
- Experience working with enterprise leaders to drive new business initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry and industry-related trends and forecasts.
- Knowledge of management skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Skills:
- Must have strong analytical and strategy development skills.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook and Project.
Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Information Technology from an accredited college or university required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Ten (10) or more years of senior leadership experience in information technology management role with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
- Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Preferred but not required: Project Management Professional (PMP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.)
