Key Responsibilities
System Administration
- Manage the Exterro platform, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance by performing routine maintenance and monitoring.
User Support And Training
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents promptly.
- Train staff on the effective use of Exterro Legal Hold tools and features.
Process Optimization
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, IT, and business teams to identify process improvements and implement solutions using Exterro tools.
- Customize workflows, reports, and dashboards to meet organizational needs.
Data Management
- Manage data integration, backups, and migrations within the Exterro environment.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Policy And Compliance
- Maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure adherence to organizational and legal standards related to e-discovery, privacy, and compliance.
Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between the IT department, Exterro vendor support, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving the Exterro platform.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- Proven experience administering Exterro Legal Hold tools (including Employee Change Monitor as well as Exterro preservation and connection configuration).
- Familiarity with legal operations, e-discovery, or compliance processes.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, database management, and system integrations.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Exterro or related platforms.
- Knowledge of Exterro Legal Hold tools (including Employee Change Monitor as well as Exterro preservation and connection configuration).
- Experience in project management or IT service management (e.g., ITIL certification).
Preferred location is the Raleigh area, but 100% remote would be fine for the right candidate.
