Netskope Engineer
Location: Hybrid; on-site once a week in Dublin, CA
Duration: 6 Months
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Netskope Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and improving the network security posture of the organization with a focus on Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Netskope, Zscaler, or Versa ZTNA solutions and a strong background in Zero Trust architecture and network security.
As a Network Security Engineer III, you will lead critical initiatives to enhance security capabilities, guide vendor/product evaluations, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, and implement network security designs and standards based on industry best practices.
- Ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy enterprise security solutions in development, test, and production environments.
- Operate and maintain production environment toolsets and services.
- Work with vendors to plan and deploy solutions, resolve issues, and implement enhancements.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and training to IT, business teams, and operations staff.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps, long-term strategies, and architectural decisions.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with Netskope (or competitor products such as Zscaler, Forcepoint, or Fortinet).
- Implementation of VPN alternative products (preferably Private Access).
- Experience deploying Zero Trust solutions.
- Expertise in SASE implementation.
- Network security background.
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Integrator certification.
Desired:
- Experience with email security gateways like Proofpoint.
- Advanced technical certifications (CISSP, CCSP, MCSA) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Netskope Certified Cloud Security Architect certification.
