About the role
Joining the Harvey Norman application development team based onsite in Homebush West, you'll collaborate closely with a highly engaged team. Your focus will be on building and maintaining robust, accessible, and user-friendly applications for our in-house applications on the Azure cloud and data centre platform.
Responsibilities include;
- Working in a cross-functional Agile team, engaging closely with business stakeholders, to plan and develop Java, Spring Boot based applications using React JS front end in Azure Cloud platform.
- Driving improvements to our CI/CD pipeline, embedding quality into our software, and ensuring strict adherence to processes and coding standards.
About you
You will have full stack development experience and be skilled in building applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, React Hooks & State Management. You'll thrive on the challenge of creating scalable, high-performing, and innovative applications using modern technologies.
You will also have:
- Experience in Azure Cloud event driven serverless application development and container environments such as Docker.
- Experience with EJB based applications using JBoss, Wildly and SQL databases.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective teamwork with backend, middleware, testing, and support teams.
