Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Experience with Java/J2EE, SOAP, Rest Webservices, Hibernate, Spring (5 yrs); Involved in all Software Development Life Cycle stages including requirement gathering, analysis, design, build, testing and implementation (5 yrs); Responsible for application Infrastructure Uplift as per the latest technology standards (5 yrs); Experience in developing applications using microservices architecture (5 yrs); Function as development lead to design the code and guide the developers per the design and requirement (5 yrs); Create applications by adhering test driven development approach (4 yrs); Design and enablement of continuous integration/continuous deployment and DevSecOps cloud processes (4 yrs); Utilize cloud computing knowledge for creating scalable environment to support applications (5 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 20% remote work allowed.
