Occam Solutions is looking for two Cleared (Secret) AWS Cloud Engineer with the following skills:
· AWS Cloud Engineer
· AWS Networking
· AWS federating access across multiple applications (Active Directory / Access Management for Splunk, AWS, etc.)
Overview:
AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) cloud environments using AWS technologies. This role involves migrating on-premise systems to the cloud, automating cloud-based processes, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure efficiency and security.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and Architecture: Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS services.
· Migration: Plan and execute the migration of on-premise systems to the AWS cloud.
· Automation: Automate cloud-based processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
· Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
· Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to develop service catalogs and maintain architectural templates.
· Security: Ensure that cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices working collaboratively with Infrastructure teams
· Support: Provide technical support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders regarding cloud solutions.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience: Proven experience in cloud computing, specifically with AWS. Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
Skills:
· Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
· Experience with cloud deployment.
· Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
· AWS Certified Solutions Architect
· AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Requirements:
1. Must hold a Secret Clearance. (Existing CAC holders would be a plus.)
