Responsibilities
- Implement and manage cloud services across multiple platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, ensuring alignment with INR's strategic IT initiatives.
- Design and optimize cloud infrastructure for high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability to support INR's mission-critical operations.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Architect to develop cloud migration strategies for existing on-premises applications and systems.
- Administer cloud environments, including compute, storage, and network resources, to meet INR's operational and security requirements.
- Automate cloud deployments and infrastructure management using infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and configuration management tools.
- Monitor cloud performance metrics and implement solutions to maintain optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal and intelligence community cloud security standards, including managing identity and access controls.
- Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain robust cloud security measures, including data encryption and threat monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the cloud infrastructure, minimizing impact on services and end-users.
- Provide technical expertise and support for cloud-related initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert within INR.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to INR's cloud capabilities.
- Document cloud configurations, procedures, and architectures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity of operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Information or Computer Systems a plus
- Must be a subject matter expert (SME) in AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure (including S3, EC2, Azure AD, Organizations, Secrets Manager, Lambda Coding, API Calls, etc.).
- Familiarity with a variety of cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and the ability to integrate these services to create cohesive solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience with tools and techniques for securing cloud environments.
- Proven experience in cloud engineering, with a strong background in deploying and managing cloud solutions in secure environments.
- Experience handling multiple projects at once
- Experience taking over management of projects at different levels of completion
- Relevant certifications such as DoD Directive 8570 compliance or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Certified Professional Cloud Engineer).
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Networking Certifications a plus
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) a plus
- Project Management Professional preferred
- Good working skills in Remedy trouble ticketing and asset management system
- Previous working experience at DoS is desirable, but not required

Pay Range
USD $148,000.00 - USD $196,000.00 /Yr.
