Responsibilities
- Design and develop a cloud architecture strategy for INR's IT systems, aligning with the bureau's modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts.
- Lead the planning and implementation of cloud solutions across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to enhance INR's operational capabilities and support its mission.
- Assess and integrate cloud technologies, ensuring seamless transition and interoperability with existing on-premises systems.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to implement robust cloud security measures, including Zero Trust Architecture and compliance with government-wide cybersecurity priorities.
- Provide technical leadership in the evaluation and selection of cloud services and tools, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability to meet INR's future requirements.
- Develop and maintain cloud governance frameworks to manage cloud resources effectively and ensure adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the migration of applications, data, and services to the cloud, minimizing disruption to INR operations and ensuring data integrity throughout the transition.
- Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability and resilience of INR's IT services.
- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, advising INR on potential innovations and best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training for INR staff on cloud technologies and services, enhancing the bureau's overall cloud competency.
- Document cloud architecture designs, configurations, and procedures, providing clear guidance for ongoing maintenance and future initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Information or Computer Systems a plus
- Must be a subject matter expert (SME) in cross-platform cohesion between multi-cloud and on-prem environments, zero trust architecture, code pipelines, and security architecture surrounding cloud environments.
- Expertise in major cloud service providers, cloud provisioning, deployment, and management technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and compliance requirements related to cloud services, particularly within government or intelligence community contexts.
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions in secure, mission-critical environments
- Experience handling multiple projects at once
- Experience taking over management of projects at different levels of completion
- Relevant certifications such as DoD Directive 8570 compliance or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a TS/SCI security clearance
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Networking Certifications a plus
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) a plus
- Project Management Professional preferred
- Good working skills in Remedy trouble ticketing and asset management system
- Previous working experience at DoS is desirable, but not required

Pay Range
USD $173,000.00 - USD $181,000.00 /Yr.
