Job Title: IT Manager

Summary:
The IT Manager holds a pivotal leadership role responsible for setting strategic direction, planning, and overseeing all facets of the organization's information technology infrastructure and services. This role entails managing IT operations, driving technology strategy, and ensuring alignment with business objectives to foster innovation and boost operational efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate the organization's IT vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with overarching business goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to IT personnel, nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continual improvement.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to uphold compliance with regulatory mandates and industry best practices.
- Implement governance frameworks to optimize IT investments, mitigate risks, and enhance decision-making processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong security safeguards, backup strategies, and business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Lead the planning, evaluation, and execution of technology solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and business units to comprehend their technology requirements and priorities. Provide strategic guidance and insights on IT initiatives and emerging technologies that bolster organizational objectives and deliver business value.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, encompassing networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure components to sustain business operations.
- Assess whether cybersecurity activities and technology controls are designed and implemented effectively so as to verify that risks are mitigated to targeted levels. Develop and execute security strategies, policies, and controls to safeguard the organization's data, systems, and networks against cybersecurity threats.
- Provide subject-matter expertise in cybersecurity and technology to support overall risk management, working closely with personnel across the organization.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors/providers, especially managed IT services, to procure IT products and services. Negotiates contracts, monitor service levels, and optimize resource utilization to maximize return on investment.
- Support the development of the IT department budget. Allocate resources judiciously, monitor expenditures, and optimize spending plans to achieve business objectives within budgetary constraints.

- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in technology management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, systems, and best practices.
- Experience in implementing and managing enterprise-level technology systems and applications.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively convey technical information through presentations to C Suite and Board committees
