We are currently seeking a Security and Privacy Compliance Lead (Policy) to support our National Science Foundation (NSF) customer.
Place of Performance: Alexandria, VA
Start Date: Contingent on contract award
Clearance: Not Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical knowledge and management of cybersecurity policy analyst
- Manage the review and development of policies, procedures, directives, regulations, and deliverables instructed by federal client
- Provide guidance and support to improve processes and privacy team’s effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Cyber Security and Security Operations
- IASAE Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification)
- Experience in deploying secure systems in government or military environments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of system security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of leading teams and projects
Preferred Skills:
- Technical knowledge of cloud service analysis, FedRAMP compliance, security assessment and monitoring, assessment, and authorization
- Experience developing privacy training content
- Experience developing systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures
- Familiarity with the NIST Privacy Framework
