Information Security Analyst
Tower Loan is searching for a full-time Information Security Analyst to join our team.
The Information Security Analyst is responsible for the general daily operations of the security program which includes: monitoring and investigation of security alerts, maintaining existing security tools, and selecting and deploying new security tools. This individual is also responsible for maintaining the security technology deployed at Tower Loan in conjunction with their peers in IT. They will provide guidance in selecting new security technology and assist with the rollout of newly acquired tools.

Compensation:
$65,000+/annually depending on experience
Responsibility Summary:
- Evaluate, implement, and support security technology.
- Perform troubleshooting of end-user issues tied to security technology.
- Conduct vulnerability scans of the enterprise environment and prioritize findings for remediation.
- Patch vulnerable systems against critical vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security alerts coming from critical detection sources such as XDR, SIEM, and Firewalls.
- Perform threat hunting within the corporate network to detect malicious activity.
- Keep up to date with the latest security threats and trends.
- Provide management with recommendations to enhance the security posture of the company.
- Lead incident response exercises with other technical team members as well as management.
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of security awareness training to employees.
- Perform daily Identity & Access Management (IAM) activities to ensure employee access is properly governed.
- Gather and provide management with relevant performance metrics for security processes and technology.
- Review and update security policies and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with IT peers to ensure the core infrastructure is properly secured.
- Perform small-scale risk assessments and provide management with summaries and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor�s degree and 4 years of IT/Security experience.
- Master�s degree and 2 years of IT/Security experience.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant security industry and vendor certifications are advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
*This position is located in Flowood, MS. The employee will report daily to our corporate location. *
Work Schedule:
- Work Schedule: M�F; 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; overtime may be occasionally required due to department and organizational needs.
