Experience & Qualifications
A minimum of 5 to 8 years of Software Engineering experience in an Investment Management Systems / IT environment
A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience (active or passive investment management, especially with Investment Performance and Risk domain)
Advanced software engineering skills, using the following stack: Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica power center, Unix shell scripting
Knowledgeable in Data Management as relates to Data Validations, exceptions & data cleansing.
Exposure to integrations with Market Data providers & Analytical systems like Bloomberg, FactSet, Barclay's POINT, etc.
Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools like SAP Business Objects, computational tools like MATLAB or R is a plus
A good understanding of application development and production support activities.
Exposure to Agile (Scrum, DAD, and the like) and CMM Waterfall methodologies
Ability to adapt quickly and easily to changes within the business
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment on larger projects.
Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
