Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health education programs and resources for patients and the community
- Conduct assessments to identify health education needs and priorities
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and group classes on various health topics
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate health education into patient care plans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of health education initiatives and propose improvements
- Create educational materials, including brochures, newsletters, and online content
- Engage with community organizations to promote health education and outreach efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential preferred
- Strong knowledge of health promotion strategies and educational methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in curriculum development and program evaluation
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
