About the Role:
COMPAX is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. This hybrid position offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute significantly to our IT infrastructure. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- End-User Support: Promptly respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues via email and ticketing systems.
- Active Directory Management: Securely manage and maintain our Active Directory environment, including user account provisioning, group policies, and permissions.
- Infrastructure Deployment: Seamlessly deploy and configure user accounts, email accounts, computers, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Network Administration: Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including switches, routers, cabling, access points, and internal network devices.
- Microsoft 365 Management: Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses, and email services.
- Patch Management: Implement and manage regular patching processes to ensure system security.
- Security Awareness: Promote and deploy security awareness training to enhance employee security awareness.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of IT issues, including hardware, software, and operating system problems.
- Software Deployment: Deploy and configure company and third-party software as needed.
- User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on software and system usage.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator (or equivalent experience in Help Desk)
- 2-3 years of experience as a Help Desk representative
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (10, 11, and Server)
- Experience with Group Policy and Active Directory management
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Aruba OS and Sonicwall OS devices
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- VMware ESXi experience
- Linux system administration experience
- PowerShell scripting skills
