We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Windows Server environments and have hands-on experience with key systems and tools essential for our IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Server Management: Administer and support Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- System Configuration: Configure and manage System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for system updates, software deployments, and inventory management.
- Active Directory: Oversee Active Directory (AD) services, including user account management, group policies, and domain controller maintenance.
- Cross-Platform Support: Provide basic support for Red Hat and Linux servers, including installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Web Server Management: Handle Apache web server configurations, performance tuning, and security settings.
- Networking: Troubleshoot and configure TCP/IP networking to ensure optimal connectivity and performance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Windows Server administration and support.
- Proficiency in SCCM for system management and deployment.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, including user and group management.
- Familiarity with Red Hat and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Apache web server management.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or CompTIA Network+.
- Experience with additional scripting languages or automation tools.
