Responsibilities{{:}}
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems and infrastructure solutions to meet our clients' business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and gather system requirements, and develop appropriate solutions
- Manage system performance, availability, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for system configuration and security
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues, and implement necessary fixes and enhancements
- Create and maintain system documentation such as technical specifications, configurations, procedures, and diagrams
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in systems engineering and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of systems engineering principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of various operating systems, such as Linux and Windows
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell
- Knowledge of network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified{{:}} Azure Administrator Associate or VMware Certified Professional (VCP), are preferred
