Job Description:
Spettro Consulting, on behalf of Slate Enclave, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist III to join our team at Fort Belvoir. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive expertise to undertake key tasks and high-impact assignments, planning and leading significant cybersecurity initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Address vulnerabilities and threats to IT Systems, NSS, and AIS.
- Implement the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and support the System Security Manager (ISSM) with security controls.
- Review RMF documentation and assist with system fielding, operations, or upgrades.
- Support Program Management Offices with cybersecurity-related acquisition documentation and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Integrate Cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST into the system lifecycle.
- Maintain compliance with DoD IG Cybersecurity Self-Assessment and FISMA requirements.
- Implement audit measures and participate in inspections and surveys of computer systems.
- Advise on complex computer security systems and make recommendations based on security guidelines.
- Develop and deliver formal training and education programs for computer and information security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT system vulnerabilities and threats.
- Experience with DoD RMF and security controls.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulatory and policy compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Completion of DoD and Army training requirements in DoDD 8140.01, DoD 8570.01-M.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to relocate to Fort Belvoir, VA before starting work.
