Position Title: Information Security Platform Administrator
Location: Annapolis, MD- 21401(Initial On-site for 3 months, later (Hybrid - Three days remote, two days onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary
The Information Security Platform Administrator will support the strategic goals and objectives of the Judicial Information Systems (JIS) Information team. Under the guidance of the Information Security Officer, this position will receive direction from the Governance Risk and Compliance and Security Administration team managers and support staff. The role involves planning, designing, installing, and administering daily operations of multiple SaaS platforms to ensure stable, scalable, redundant, and secure technical operations for information security.
Key Responsibilities - Technical Support Lead:
- Actively participate in the planning, design, installation, administration, and day-to-day operations of multiple SaaS platforms (e.g., SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Purview, Archer Risk Management).
- Ensure stable, scalable, redundant, and secure information security technical operations.
- Serve as the systems matter expert and primary support contact for the Information Security Team.
- Open support calls and troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
- Daily Support Activities:
- Engage with Information Security and JIS staff to oversee and provide daily support for Information Security business processes.
- Provide configuration and operational support across platforms.
- Enhance operational activity with the administration of technical activities on these platforms.
- System Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Work with Information Security platforms to test and deploy services.
- Build out functionality and automation to improve business operations and streamline workflow processes.
- Create process and procedure documentation in support of JIS’ statewide security operations.
- Project Management and Audit Support:
- Lead, schedule, coordinate, and provide guidance in activities with the Information Security Team, other JIS teams, and vendors.
- Support information security operations, business process development, risk management framework, identity and access management, user attestations, disaster recovery planning, business continuity planning, audit response, and governance.
- System Customizations and Improvements:
- Deploy, configure, administer, and create customizations and improvements of the SaaS software to meet business needs.
- Develop new processes, procedures, and workflows to improve security operations.
- Problem Determination and Resolution:
- Provide problem determination and resolution through analysis and diagnostics of a variety of problems (software configuration, security issues, performance problems).
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate regular status reports and technical and procedural documents upon request.
- Host weekly status meetings/calls with the team.
- Training:
- Provide Information Security staff training on all areas of the supported platforms.
Qualifications - Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in an IT-related field.
- One (1) year of experience in providing recruitment, staffing, and/or professional consulting services.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the configuration, deployment, and operation of two (2) or more of the following SaaS platforms: SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Purview, Archer Risk Management.
- Industry-leading networking certifications at a professional level.
- Ten (10) years of relevant IT work experience with at least five (5) years in information security and SaaS management and administration.
- Two (2) years of hands-on design, implementation, application customization, and support experience with SaaS platforms.
- Proficient with information security platforms in an enterprise environment.

Technical Skills: - Build application-specific user attestations.
- Provide role-based access to individual system attestations.
- Work with System Owners to build custom user attestation requirements.
- Provide training to system users.
CyberArk - Privileged Cloud, Remote Access, User Account Management.
Microsoft Purview - Data Loss Protection, Information Protection (Labeling and Encryption, Data Categorization and Classification), Insider Risk Management, Defender XDR.
Archer - Risk Assessments, Risk Mapping to NIST and Security Policies, Risk Acceptance, Risk Register, Risk Tracker, Risk Task Automation, Business Continuity, Security Incident Reporting.
Soft Skills - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
- Ability to present technical information for knowledge transfer and training purposes.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, end-users, vendor development staff, and all levels of management and judicial personnel.
- Ability to troubleshoot application-specific problems and open support tickets as needed.
