Job Description
Mindpoint Group is seeking a Zero Trust Engineer to be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Zscaler Zero Trust solutions, including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX). This role requires a comprehensive understanding of zero trust components and principles with the ability to apply them to a data centric approach for securing critical infrastructure.

- Design and implement Zscaler Zero Trust solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) to secure internet access, private application access, and digital experience monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Zscaler solutions with existing security tools and infrastructure.
- Monitor and manage the performance and security of Zscaler solutions, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with security policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on Zscaler solutions and zero trust principles.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Support the integration of the zero-trust broker tools with other security tools, including identity management, SIEM, and EDR tools
Qualifications
Applicable US Government Clearance - Public Trust Required*
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum six (6) years of network or cybersecurity expertise
- Proven experience with Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) and zero trust security principles.
- Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and endpoint security.
- Experience with security tools and platforms such as SIEMs, CASBs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What is ideal?
- Relevant network security or cybersecurity-related training, such as Forrester Zero Trust Strategy or Zero Trust Certified Associate
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
Location:
Occasional trips to the customer site in Washington DC

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $100- 150k.
