In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and risk leader, partnering directly with divisional tech leadership, cybersecurity, and compliance teams. Your expertise will help guide the development of smart, scalable risk practices that not only support innovation—but also protect the integrity of systems, data, and customers.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted risk advisor to Divisional CIO leadership and their engineering teams, helping drive informed, risk-aware decision-making.
- Lead and execute key technology risk assessments including RCSAs, PLAs, exception reviews, and targeted risk analyses.
- Build strong partnerships across tech, cybersecurity, compliance, and audit functions to influence effective risk strategies.
- Develop and present clear, actionable risk insights to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Support internal governance frameworks and strengthen the overall tech risk posture.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce enhancements aligned with cloud transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise platform strategies.
- Lead deep-dive risk investigations and propose control enhancements for emerging technologies and critical systems.
- Contribute to broader risk programs within the Enterprise Services Risk team through innovation and continuous improvement.
âś… What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
- 5+ years in technology or risk management roles.
- Experience in program or project management, risk analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- 3+ years working with enterprise technologies like networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or cybersecurity tools.
- Strong experience communicating with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Professional risk certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, etc.).
- 6+ years experience leading technology or cyber risk programs in public cloud environments.
- Familiarity with industry risk frameworks, governance, and metrics.
- Project or Program Management certifications (PMP, PgMP).
- Background in Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or process improvement certifications.
- Technical certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
