Our client, a
leading consulting firm, is seeking an experienced
Linux Administrator with strong expertise in
Azure (AZ), AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is ideal for professionals who
manage Linux servers across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring system security, efficiency, and seamless integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud platforms.
- Manage and optimize on-prem VMware and physical server environments (HPE).
- Ensure system security and compliance with best practices, monitoring for vulnerabilities and performance issues.
- Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Troubleshoot and resolve server performance, connectivity, and security issues.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience managing Linux servers in Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
- Experience with VMware and physical server administration (HPE preferred).
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Security-focused mindset, ensuring compliance and proactive monitoring.
- Although the role is Remote, they would like EST or CST alignment.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Previous experience working with Federal Government systems and knowledge of FIPS compliance.
