Job Title: Commvault SME
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Location: Nashville, TN
What will you be doing?
Providing expert technical guidance and support for Commvault backup and recovery solutions, ensuring effective data protection and recovery operations within HCA's healthcare IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of Commvault solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate documentation of Commvault configurations and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Commvault technologies and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other IT staff on Commvault technologies.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of Commvault software, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with various storage technologies (e.g., DellEMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, SANs, NAS) and their integration with Commvault.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Commvault issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the client’s operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical staff, including project managers and vendors.
- Understanding of the specific needs and challenges of healthcare IT environments.
- Expertise in backup and recovery procedures, disaster recovery planning, and data retention policies.
- Significant experience with Commvault backup and recovery solutions, ideally in a large, complex healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Relevant technical degree or certifications (e.g., Commvault Certified Professional).
