Job Brief:
We are seeking a capable Technical Support Specialist / Junior Systems Administrator to maintain, support and manage systems. The responsibilities include installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems, ensuring optimal system performance, and assisting staff with technical issues. A successful candidate will be well-versed in technology and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment. Microsoft certifications are highly valued and will support the role effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Provide technical support to staff when needed
- Ensure systems are up to date with the latest patches and security updates
- Assist in system management tasks such as system upgrades and file maintenance
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of network and system administration
- Technical competence in handling different operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of experience in system administration and/or technical support roles
