We’re seeking a
Systems Administrator who’s eager to work with cutting-edge technology and utilize his or her skills to solve complex problems. You must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environments and experience with the tools to manage the environment. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Azure AD and Azure services, server virtualization, and exhibit a willingness to learn new technologies.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Work in collaboration with our Managed Service Providers to maintain, enhance, monitor, troubleshoot and upgrade numerous networks, servers, systems, and backups
- Assist in the administration of Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to systems and processes
- Make sure systems are patched and up to date. Experience with Microsoft Intune preferred.
- Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems, outages, and scheduling upgrades.
- Assist with the design and implementation of new network infrastructure equipment and services.
- Manage offsite backups with cloud backup provider
- Manage data collaboration systems to ensure data is available when and where needed.
- Works closely with the helpdesk team to ensure applications are deployed efficiently
- Provides Tier 2 support in our ticketing system
- Work within management consoles to administer and monitor day-to-day activities
- Support management with information systems requests and projects as directed
- Make recommendations to improve system efficiency and/or reduce costs.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field
- Five (5) or more years of experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies – VMWare ESX and Azure required
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Windows PowerShell)
- Advanced knowledge of operating systems deployment, and application packaging and deployment
- Knowledge of AutoPilot and device management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems in Enterprise environments
- Experience in Group Policy, DNS, DFS and DHCP
- Experience in Microsoft 365/Azure administration and management
- Experience in Active Directory administration and management
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of problems and issues.
- Able to self-direct and set tasks that align with the overall department's goals and strategies
- A strong handle on Networking Fundamentals (WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi) and Protocols
- Valid Driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds Occasional travel is required
- Occasional work after-hours and on weekends
