AAA Canada is looking for a 310T Technician Truck and Coach Technician
Responsibilities
- The Field Service Technician 310T is responsible for acceptance and in-field service for bus deliveries to our customers. Assisting in warranty situations, completing retrofits, training and keep general customer liaison.
- Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses.
- Perform retrofit work while assisting suppliers in troubleshooting issues.
- Use various diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in training programs and courses to expand knowledge and skills in the field of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
- Communicate the status of assignments daily
- Maintain tracking documents.
- Make sure all repairs are documented and closed in the Service Cloud.
- Learn to use all software to complete daily job.
Skills and qualifications
- Diploma, 310T License
- Strong interest in technicians and a desire to pursue a career in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions effectively.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
- Prior experience in the automotive or transportation industry (preferred but not required.
Required experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in transit.
