U.S. Hunger is seeking a top-performing Cloud Database Administrator to lead our Azure-to-AWS migration, and drive our AI-powered data transformation, leveraging technology to combat food insecurity and connect families to essential resources. This role requires expertise in SQL Server, AWS, and NoSQL architectures to develop scalable, high-impact solutions.
You will design and optimize databases for our proprietary Impact Manager platform, implement NoSQL enhancements, and support the Salesforce Administrator with SOQL queries. This role offers the opportunity to integrate AI-powered tools to enhance automation, security, and data intelligence.
Database Administration and AWS Migration
- Lead Azure-to-AWS migration, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
- Manage AWS-based SQL Server deployments (RDS, EC2, Multi-AZ failover).
- Optimize performance via index tuning, FTS, and execution plan analysis.
- Implement partitioning, replication, and high-performance stored procedures.
- Ensure database security (TDE, column encryption, AWS KMS).
- Maintain HIPAA/HITRUST compliance, including C2 Auditing.
AI-Enhanced Database Optimization & Automation
- Enhance AI-driven database performance through automated tuning and anomaly detection.
- Leverage Amazon Q for AI-assisted query optimization and schema management.
- Enable natural language query interactions using Amazon Lex.
SQL & NoSQL Hybrid Data Solutions
- Manage and optimize SQL Server JSON/XML functionality to support semi-structured data storage in a hybrid SQL/NoSQL model.
- Integrate AWS DynamoDB and MongoDB where appropriate to enhance NoSQL capabilities for unstructured datasets.
- Leverage AI-powered indexing and predictive query analysis to optimize relational and document-based databases.
