POSITION SUMMARY:
The Network & Security Analyst I is responsible for the company’s Information Technology security suite from operations through support. The person in this position provides computing security assurance and support for the company and as such is responsible for strengthening and maintaining the security environment and administering all systems and data access authorization. This position collaborates with our hardware/software vendors and NCM’s management teams to maintain the security of the physical network infrastructure through a disciplined change management process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conducts quarterly security reviews of network and application accounts
- Security Committee membership
- Responsible for ensuring National CineMedia’s compliance with regulatory requirements as it relates to security.
- Operational support and maintenance responsibility for the Information Technology security environment ensuring that only authorized individuals and organizations access, manipulate, and update National CineMedia information. Specific responsibilities include:
- Regularly reviews all security systems to ensure appropriate security capabilities are in place for all systems and data. Identifies actual and potential system and/or data threats utilizing a variety of security tools, technical journals, and independent study.
- Monitors developments in security technology and environmental risks along with changes in business needs to develop, strengthen, and improve the security strategies, architecture, and plans of the company’s security systems in collaboration with the IT Operations.
- Ensures that new applications, systems, and infrastructure components adhere to defined security requirements and standards, aiding in the evolution of the security environment to support the requirements of new systems and business initiatives.
- Participates in the design and implementation of processes which enhance the security of National CineMedia’s IT and business operations.
- Participates in the planning and priorities for IT Security projects.
- Perform technical support and maintenance activities necessary to operate and monitor the IT security environment and to respond to security threats as they arise. Specific responsibilities include:
- Monitor and report security intrusion attacks, viruses, etc. to Management and participate in the efforts to isolate affected systems and correcting the vulnerabilities identified.
- Recommend changes and/or improvements to the IT security environment as necessary.
- Configure, implement, and manage, NCM’s security tools such as Firewalls, Switches, Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Network Access Control (NAC), internal scanning and security auditing systems, Endpoint Protection, internal and external remote network access systems, and related technologies.
- Create, update, and modify firewall security rules as necessary.
- Monitor security vendors for new releases and patches and applies software patches and new releases as appropriate to the National CineMedia technology environment.
- Investigate, diagnose, and repair problems with security software or equipment.
- On-call and non-business hour availability required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Current and demonstrated experience in IT security architecture and systems, including responsibility for implementing security architecture and monitoring systems underlying sophisticated, high-volume Internet-based transaction processing and information retrieval systems
- Verifiable knowledge of best practices in security deployment, including intrusion prevention, monitoring, and detection, password and authorized access administration, and security policies
- Mature and calm confidence demeaner in the face of adversity
- Effective decision-making, even under pressure and while lacking detailed information
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills are required to effectively communicate and collaborate with a broad range of groups and individuals, including IT technicians, vendors, internal and external service providers, IT management, theatre, and business unit staff
- Must be a strong team player and excellent collaborator
- Must be highly organized and capable of providing technical leadership while requiring minimal day-to-day guidance
- Possess strong problem-solving skills for a complex network topology, root cause analysis, and solution based issue resolutions
- Able to communicate difficult technical concepts clearly to a variety of individuals of varying technical expertise and understanding

Experience and Training:
Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience with a proven track record in installing, managing, and supporting sophisticated network and security environments involving multiple locations on a national scale in a fast-paced, demanding company. Specific experience with Palo Alto, FortiNAC, CORE Securities, Cisco, LogRhythm SIEM preferred.
Education: A college degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required
Licensure / Certification: Professional certifications in IT Security, such as a CISSP or CCSE, or CNIE preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Conditions:
This job operates both in a professional office environment and work from home hybrid schedule and includes internal and external datacenter operations.⯠This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. After-hour/weekend work and On-call responsibilities required. Travel should not exceed 5%.
Physical Conditions:
Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting for prolonged periods of time, lifting 15 pounds, and the use of basic tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, power tools, etc.).

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR COLORADO APPLICANTS:
Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $95,000 - $105,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
