Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract job with a client in Plano, TX (hybrid). The ideal candidate will have experience in banking, Risk, and Governance.
Rate Range: $45 hour to $52 hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and elicit requirements and user stories from business teams, applying technical knowledge to use cases, process models, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and document technical designs for existing applications and create precise, detailed specifications.
- Serve as the communication hub between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.
- Lead the documentation and enhancement of business continuity and corporate security tools, including geospatial tracking, mass communication, and mobile contact solutions.
- Prepare graphics, illustrations, and presentations to complement technical design documentation and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs and compliance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or, Business Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Familiarity with full SDLC and ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Experience with JIRA and other project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Visio).
- Proven ability to develop technical documentation and work with business and technical teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and deliver technical requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in risk management, technology, or financial service
- Information Security
- Infrastructure or Network Operations
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
