This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an experienced Microsoft Cloud System Administrator who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on solving complex technical challenges, and is looking to grow with a team committed to delivering enterprise-grade IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses.
In this role, you’ll split your time evenly between project work and escalated support. You'll work with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Windows Server environments—while also being a key contributor to infrastructure initiatives and support operations.
What You'll Do
- Handle a 50/50 blend of project implementation and advanced support tasks
- Design and deploy Azure infrastructure to support scalable and secure client environments
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and more
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security through Azure AD and on-prem AD
- Configure and maintain Windows Server systems (DNS, DHCP, GPOs, etc.)
- Support backup and disaster recovery efforts across client networks
- Troubleshoot escalated server, cloud, and infrastructure issues
- Enforce identity and access management and support compliance efforts
- Conduct system audits to ensure adherence to internal standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure infrastructure optimization
- Contribute to technical strategy by researching and recommending new tools and practices
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in Windows System Administration or Microsoft Cloud environments
- Strong expertise with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 and Active Directory
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and Exchange/Exchange Online
- Solid hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Verge.io preferred)
- Knowledge of disaster recovery best practices and security protocols
- Azure Administrator Associate certification (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
Bonus If You Have
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) setting
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator or Security Administrator
- Experience with hybrid AD environments and M365 migration projects
