Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Architect remotely. Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Architect will analyze business requirements and specifications to design Cloud solutions that deliver value to the customer
- Oversee the deployment of solutions ensuring integration with existing systems
- Continuously assess infrastructure performance identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction
- Identify and report infrastructure and application defects, track issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of multiple infrastructure automation tools and technologies including Terraform
- Comfortable delivering and monitoring solutions through scripting automations (ex. Python, UNIX shell, YAML, and JSON)
- Implementation and support of DevOps tools including GitLab and CI/CD Pipelines
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to build and manage infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable way
- As an Infrastructure Architect, you will develop and implement best practices for automation development and operation
- Stay up to date on the latest Cloud trends and technologies
- Collaborate with customers, developers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective automation solutions
- Document work and share knowledge with others
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of deep technical systems experience designing and supporting production environments
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing, building, and deploying Cloud solutions
- 5+ years of experience with AWS services and solutions
- 3+ years working with monitoring solutions (ex. Dynatrace)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Comfortable with Unix (Linux) and Windows system administration
- Scripting skills for automation of administrative and security processes
- Infrastructure automation (IcS - Terraform)
- Containerization (Rancher, Docker, K8S, EKS)
- CI/CD frameworks and tools (GitLab, Artifactory)
- Cloud and Security certifications a plus
- Experience with test automation frameworks a plus
- Experience working in a SaaS-based product development environment or FDA-regulated medical device environment desired
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
