Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Compliance & Risk Management Analyst to join their team. As a Compliance & Risk Management Analyst, you will be part of the Compliance & Risk Management Department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem resolution skills, and a customer service orientation which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Compliance & Risk Management Analyst
Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid)
Contract: 6-Months (possible extension)
Pay Range: $35/hr - $40/hr W2
What's the Job?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage user access controls using SailPoint IdentityNow or similar identity and access management platforms such as Archer.
- Evaluate and monitor data governance to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across the identity and access management platform.
- Administer user access reviews and certifications, leveraging SailPoint to streamline processes and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and control standards.
- Lead and facilitate discussions with various management levels, technology and business units, to identify and mitigate risks, addressing control gaps with innovative solutions.
- Support IT audit processes, ensuring alignment with industry and IT security frameworks such as SEC and NIST.
- Supports annual SOC1, SOX, and SOC2 audit efforts.
- Utilize project management skills to manage high volume of tasks effectively.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience, preferably with identity and access management platforms and data governance expertise.
- Moderate to advanced expertise with data handling/analytics tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of identity and access management processes, including user access provisioning and access reviews.
- Ability to work with managers and senior leaders across the organization.
- Modern knowledge of Information Security Practices including familiarity with industry and IT security frameworks (e.g., SEC, NIST) and general technology controls, as well as understanding of IT systems integration with business applications, databases, and systems.
