About the Role:
Work with other IT department staff to support, protect, and maintain the Credit Union's technology infrastructure as required by regulatory standards and agencies in support of the approved organizational mission.
Responsibilities:
- Hardware Support: Perform support and maintenance on all Credit Union-owned end user equipment, including (but not limited to) desktops, laptops, tablets, IP phones, biometric devices, signature pads, teller workstations. Provide basic network connectivity troubleshooting and escalate as needed.
- Software Support: Conduct first-line general software support for Credit Union staff for all workstation software and software-as-a-service (SaaS) that is within the IT department's realm of control. Escalate to vendors as needed and provide liaison between staff, management, and vendors as appropriate. Maintain a knowledge and understanding of Credit Union services and how they relate to the various systems and vendors employed.
- Compliance: Understand and comply with all policies and procedures related to the Credit Union's computing environment, and IT procedures related to (but not limited to) patch management, change management, licensing, registration, service contract, warranties, and upgrades/migrations for all systems, platforms, and devices, Report any gaps or violations to management. Work with other IT staff to monitor security solutions such as Antivirus, XDR, SIEM, and audit logging, as well as the physical security of the environment from an IT perspective.
- Business Projects: Work with Credit Union departments, third-party vendors, and other IT staff to implement business projects. This may involve attending routine meetings and taking notes, as well as some basic IT troubleshooting and critical thinking.
- IT Infrastructure Support: Assist other IT staff with server and infrastructure projects and maintenance, as needed. Act as a first responder for times that other IT staff is not available. Escalate issues to supervisor as necessary.
- IT Documentation Support: Maintain inventories of all equipment, licenses, support contracts, and related systems. Maintain, extend, and create (as needed) system and environment documentation for the Credit Union and related/connected environments, as applicable.
- Keep abreast of new technologies, new techniques, state-of-the-art hardware and software developments. Refer anything with a perceived benefit for the Credit Union to management for discussion and evaluations.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A two-year Associates degree in computer sciences or IT certification equivalent.
Required Skills:
- Basic Windows desktop support knowledge is required.
- Experience with service ticketing systems preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 preferred.
- Network or security certifications such as CCNA, or CCNP, or CCISP a plus.
- Experience with switch & firewall management is a plus.
- Prior experience in financial services or other regulated industries, specifically credit unions, a plus.

Aptitude for technology, ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly; willing to learn and support a diverse array of systems.
