Are you an experienced Systems Administrator with experience within the Managed Services space?
We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Administrator due to our continued growth. In this role, you will oversee complex technical projects, offer expert-level support, and take responsibility for:
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end users.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Support a variety of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, SQL, Office 365/Exchange, and SharePoint.
- Manage virtual environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Configure, install, and manage network services and devices, including routers, firewalls, and WAN/LAN connectivity.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and IT teams for problem resolution.
- Communicate updates to customers regarding ticket progress, changes, and outages.
- Maintain thorough system documentation, including reviews and improvement recommendations.
- Log all work, expenses, and time as service tickets in the system.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
- A degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications: MD-102 or VCP 6/6.5.
- 7+ years of experience in IT, preferred.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365, and Mac OS is a plus.
- Experience with AWS or Azure is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
- High organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
